Atul S. Vellappally is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Temple University, the terminal practice degree in nursing. His doctoral training emphasized evidence-based practice, clinical leadership, and the translation of research into direct patient care — the foundation for how InnoCre approaches every visit.

He is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) through the American Nurses Credentialing Center, with full independent prescribing authority for non-controlled medications in each state he serves.

Hands-On Clinical Experience

Beyond the classroom, Atul's background spans urgent care, telehealth, and critical care — high-acuity environments where accurate triage and clear communication matter most. That firsthand experience shapes the clinical judgment he brings to virtual visits: knowing what can be safely managed online, what needs labs or imaging, and when a patient should be directed to in-person or emergency care.

It is also why InnoCre is explicit about its scope. We do not prescribe Schedule II–V controlled substances via telehealth, and as a separate clinical-policy matter we do not prescribe antipsychotics or mood stabilizers virtually — boundaries grounded in safe, responsible practice rather than volume.
